The Enigmatic Taoist Relic is a three-dimensional motion poster that presents an ancient Chinese Taoist symbol with a science fiction aesthetic. The central element is the Lotus, a traditional Taoist artifact, reimagined in a futuristic three-dimensional form. The Lotus is a symbol of harmony and tranquillity in Taoist culture. The model was built in Cinema 4D and rendered with the Octane renderer, while the petal sketches and the texture maps were prepared in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. The work aims to respect cultural heritage and to offer a modern view of Taoist imagery.
